Genus: Timalia
Description
This genus contains just one species, the Chestnut-capped Babbler from SE-Asia. It has
- A short, deep-based bill
- A strongly graduated tail longer than the wing
- Peculiar rigid crown-feather shafts
Taxonomy
Timalia is a genus in the Family Timaliidae.
It seems to be closely related to the genus Macronous.
