South America: found in the lowlands of south-eastern Brazil (southern Minas Gerais to eastern Santa Catarina).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Shrubby vegetation at forest borders, clearings and in gardens and parks.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists almost entirely of insects.
