Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in genus Cyornis.
Subspecies
Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:
- L. c. cyaneum: Mountains of northeast India to southern China, Myanmar and northern Thailand
- L. c. concretum: Mountains of southern Malay Peninsula and Sumatra
- L. c. everetti: Mountains of northern Borneo
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and montanes.
