Ornithion semiflavum

Identification

Length about 9 cm, with very short tail. Yellow underside, greenish olive upperside, gray crown, obvious white supercilium.

Distribution

Central America: found from southern Mexico (Oaxaca) to north-eastern Costa Rica.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and forests edges, plantations and gardens.

Behaviour

Diet

Their main diet consists of insects.
