  • Bluish slate-grey head and upperparts (including ear-coverts, neck sides and scapulars)
  • Streaked forehead and crown

Distribution

Africa:
Western Africa: found in Guinea, southern Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo
Eastern Africa: occurs only in western Uganda
African Islands: Gulf of Guinea Islands; Bioko

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Openings and clearings of primary lowland forests and older secondary growth.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists almost entirely of tiny flying insects.
