Identification

11–12 cm (4¼-4¾ in)

  • Yellow forehead
  • Yellowish-green crown
  • Green upperparts
  • Blackish-brown flight feather and primary-coverts

Distribution

Africa: found in South East Kenya (Chyulu Mountains) and northern Tanzania (North Pare Mountains)

Taxonomy

This species was previously included in the Broad-ringed White-eye complex.

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Highland forests and forest edges.

Behaviour

There is no information about diet or breeding available.
