Identification

10–11 cm (4-4½ in)

  • Greyish-olive upperparts
  • Mouse-grey crown and upper-wing coverts

Distribution

Pohnpei (east Caroline Islands), Pacific

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered conspecific with Kosrae White-eye under the name Grey-brown White-eye.

Habitat

Well vegetated areas, including gardens.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists of insects, small berries and seeds.
