This scenically very attractive valley is privately owned and a fee is charged for car-parking and entry.
Algaiarens is situated on the north coast and reached on the Cala Morell road north-east out of Ciutadella following signs for Cala Morell and Cala Algaiarens. Pass the turn-off for Cala Morell and go straight on following signs for La Vall through the pinewoods. This road continues to the estate gates where a parking attendant may be present.
Once in the estate follow the footpath to the cala.

Keith Dickinson's Review
Found this place when we went to Menorca in 1999, then it was a very quiet little place with no facilities. The whole estate was open to you, however the estate workers got a little annoyed if you strayed off the paths. I managed to get close up views of Egyptian Vultures on the ground, Yellow-legged Gulls were there every time we went. I also saw Peregrine Falcon and Common Cuckoo. For anyone with a family then it is worth visiting as the beach was quiet and relatively safe for kids.
Pros.
Great birding on mostly level ground
Good beach for kids
Cons
When I was there the gates weren't opened till late morning
Absolutely no facilities
