Distribution
South America: found in dry woodlands of north-central Bolivia to northern Argentina and south-eastern Brazil, Uruguay and adjacent Brazil and Argentina.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Subspecies C. l. major is generally considered invalid[2].
