Overview
Headquarters for the Desert National Wildlife Range, northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. The area was set aside to protect Desert Bighorn Sheep. In doing so, they also protected the old homestead at Corn Creek, which has a series of ponds and streams and acts as a bird magnet in the middle of otherwise arid desert.

I and several others saw the following over one hour the morning of April 15, 2005 at Desert NWR-Corn Creek. The refuge is at least an hour from the airport.
Okay but nothing exceptional.
