Identification
16·5–18 cm (6½-7 in); Female is also a little smaller than male.
Greenish-black upperparts, chest, flanks and under-wing coverts while most of the underside is cinnamon and the throat is whitish (male) or buff (female).
Distribution
Central America: found in tropical eastern Panama and north-western Colombia.

This is a monotypic species[1].
Subspecies carmenensis is generally considered to be invalid[2].
Habitat
Lowland damp forests, shrubby forest edges and clearings; jungle riversides.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet consists of flying insects, including moths.
