Behaviour

Feeds mainly on insects taken on or near the ground; also eats fish, frogs, reptiles, small mammals and birds (including Bronze Mannikin, Red-throated Wryneck and chicks of Red-billed Quelea, White-eared Barbet and Black-collared Barbet).
