Identification

Location: Tagus Estuary

Iberian Chiffchaff in Morocco

A small population occur in the north of Morocco especially in the estearn Rif montains areas. Unfortunatly no scientific studies were carried out to evaluate the status of the Moroccan population. I saw a couple of this enigmatic bird in the region of Tangier (North of the kingdom)

This should be more properly P. ibericus, but as yet the SM has not updated to this.
