Identification

Distribution

Myanmar, and Thailand.

Taxonomy

Formerly considered conspecific with Cachar Bulbul. Also the former subspecies myitkyinensis is now included in Grey-eyed Bulbul, lekhakuni and cinnamomeoventris were transfered from this species here.

Subspecies

There are 3 subspecies[1]:

  • I. v. viridescens:
  • I. v. lekhakuni:
  • I. v. cinnamomeoventris:
  • Thai-Malay Peninsula (Mergui District and Isthmus of Kra south at least to Songkhla)

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.
