Antrostomus sericocaudatus

Identification

Distribution

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognized[1]:

  • A. s. mengeli
  • A. s. sericocaudatus

It was formerly placed in the genus Caprimulgus.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
