Mysterious call among the reeds in southern Germany (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

after struggling to identify the origin of this "drüüü"call (noone I talked to has any idea what this could be), maybe someone in this forum can help me? Recorded this morning at 8am in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Not referring to the reed bunting obviously....already uploaded the file onto https://birdnet.cornell.edu/ , but no help there either. Checked all amphibian species as well, doesn't seem to fit...any suggestions?

I have heard Common Starling making quite similar sounds in reed beds but not at this time of year or during the day! Perhaps an Acro sp trying a mimicry but failing miserably 🙂

Thanks you two ! @Deb Burhinus There were some starling in the area, rarely singing though. Acro sp. is an interesting suggestion, but they usually arrive in late april to mid may, so that seems unlikely too.
@davercox I'm not sure, but what else could it be? End of march, 8 in the morning, maybe 7 degrees....none of the amphibian species seems to fit, and it's too early for crickets?

Some of the recordings are quite similar. There are plenty of those calling in the area, but never heard a sound like this ! They appear to be more variable in their song than I would've thought. Thanks !
