Name a Bird You've Seen 2 (3 Viewers)

Cyanicterus cyanicterus Blue and Yellow, blue and yellow. Not bad. But this bird has three different colours in its name:

8852 Grey-Olive Greenbul

Just to keep things going; a bird with a very narrow range overlap,
I'm struggling to find things to play as Reverse List still has loads of birds which have now been played like Yellow-throated Greenbul that I was about to play until a search showed it was already played a few pages ago

8853 Somali Crow

Corvus edithae, also known as the Dwarf Raven. So add the letter "r" for raven to the scientific name, and then you'll find you have an anagram of "Acridotheres VU". My next bird is CR (critically endangered), not just VU (vulnerable), but it's a good enough fit. Yes, it's Acridotheres melanopterus:

8854 Black-winged Starling.

(y) Possibly the best link so far.

My link is much lazier
8855. Black-headed Parrotbill

8856 Atlantic Petrel

well it has a black head
Oh dear, nothing played for a few days. It seems we're struggling to add more now.

But I'm going to try to get this moving again. From a Pterodroma to a Pterorhinus (well, depending on which taxonomy you use)
8857. Rufous-vented Laughingthrush

I'll try 8861 Chestnut-headed Sparrow Lark which I don't think has been played
it is roughly the same colour scheme of chestnut, white and black

8863 Violaceous Quail-Dove. A colour and two types of bird in the name. Sadly, having thought I'd won, I now have none left, and am sure that dandsblair have more birds in reserve. Perhaps they should play each other from now on.

I have a 43 that Sarah hasn't seen she has 1 I haven't but suspect that unless I can find something obscure from PNG or Ethiopia they will have been played. I will go through the reverse list again and check it against played from last 150 or so.

Not a good link - but another predominantly ground dwelling bird, ( then I think we are down to last couple of birds unless some Indonesian splits get added to the reverse list)

8864 Lesser Hoopoe Lark
