Greetings to all. Relocated to the Volunteer state from the New Barbary Coast in 2017. Time for some serious birding since there are so many varied and colorful birds here.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi Sikorsky and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful.

Thanks to all for the warm reception. A couple questions:
Anyone familiar with Levenhuk 8x42 monoculars? They have BK4 prisms but are very inexpensive so probably a waste of $.
Looking also at the Athlon 8x42 roof prism but know nothing about this mfg. I have a Swift Osprey armored 7x50 (I believe) porro glass that is about 20 years old and used very little. Considering upgrading to a good roof prism and want to stay under $300.

Hi and welcome to BirdForum. I’d start a thread in the binoculars forum. Some very knowledgeable members here who should be able to point you in the right direction.
