I just had an extremely late flava Wagtail fly over the green barn near Ladywood calling. The call sounded harsh and quite piercing. The late date and the nuances of the call make me suspect this might have been an Eastern Yellow Wagtail. Proving this without sound recording is likely to be very difficult however.

Green Sandpiper over between Ladywood and New Mill sewage plant.

Raven
A couple of Redpolls and a few Siskins over.

Seen at least 8 Bramblings in Sunflower crop and orchard area around Tapenhall pool. There's likely to be double figures in the area.

Coney Meadow Work Party

A work party will take place in Coney Meadow this coming Wednesday (24th November) from 9 am.

If anybody is interested in joining us for a couple of hours then you are very welcome. Please bring sturdy footwear and gardening gloves. Tools will be provided as necessary. Thanks.
