Hi i was just wondering where in Ohio would be the best place for finding and taking pictures of Kingfishers. i have only seen them flying but have never seen them land. does anyone have a park or somthing that will garentee a sighting of a kingfisher?

also does anyone have a park that they know where a pileated woodpecker lives like a nest and or where they see one regularly? Please help Thanks!

The Glen Helen Nature preserve is a great place for birding. If you go to their website, or google them it will list the species and the chance of seeing them in the preserve. Most owls you find in Ohio are listed under commonly sighted.
