Thats New Year out of the way.

Sat at the computer updating the websites I help to run when mother came in and said "will you take me down welney to see the swans".

Off we set at just gone midday and arrived there at 13.30 was well impressed with their new visitor centre and new bridge to the observation hide.

Not many swans there as it is carrying to much water but lots of other birds to see. Only took a few photos

This one had a dislocated wing and has been there since last winter

These had just flown in from the fields and were covered in mud and were in much need of a bath
