October Thrush, southern England (1 Viewer)

Paul Bright-Thomas

Landlocked birder, looking up
I photographed this thrush sp on a bright morning of moderate passage in mid-october.

Some have suggested it is a Fieldfare, but the absence of white on belly or vent, and the lack of contrast between underwing coverts and remiges doesn't fit for me.
