UK tax payers paying twice for Skye windfarm (1 Viewer)

Story in today's Press and Journal, stating that a MEP claims that the EU is probably about to fine the UK government, or the Scottish Parliament, (not quite clear on which) for allowing the passing of planning permission for a windfarm on Skye without a proper EU level enviromental impact study being carried out prior to passing the planning permission.

The tax payers already pay 75% of the development costs. They seemingly are, or may be, in the near future, paying for the folly of local councils as well. (No real news there then!!)

Regards

Malky.
