Latest questions

Nikon 7x35 AE - focusing issue?
I need long eye relief and like porros, so after all the reviews picked up an Amazon Warehouse at 68UKP. In the hands it feels ok, and with my -8D prescription lenses, the eye relief is adequate. I just can't get on with the focusing.
Presubly due to the thick grease used for waterproofing, turning the focus wheel is harder than any other bins-not necessarily an issue, but if I want to check focus, I can't just rotate it slightly back and forth. I have to rotate the focused several degrees before the bridge moves slightly, and the same going in the other direction.
Looking at the bridge, the left hand eyepiece seems to move before the right when I adjust focus.
Before I send them back I would like to know if this is a normal thing for the 7x35 AE, or maybe whether they can be tightened to fix the issue - my set may have excessive play in the bridge.
Thanks in advance.
