Hi, I would like to know, for the Kite Lynx 8x30:
- does it have phase correction?
- what is the exact (measured from the eyepiece, not from the lens of course) eye relief?
- what is the exact magnification? (Dito: measured)
And, most important: what is the FOV, measured in degrees.
One pays 90% of the price for really great FOVs, but very few brands indicate them. And many are still wrong. E.g. Nikon gave 70 for their superb 8x30 EII, and the real FOV ( or AOV? ) is but 67, that is still very much.
The FOV given in meter/km does mean nothing unless the exact magnification is known.
Kite does give 151m, I dont know if this value has been measured, but anyway it doesnot mean much unless the exact value of the mag. is known. Someone in this forum gave 7,8, does anyone have measured it?
