I was looking for a pair of good birding binoculars and found these ranked #4 for Best Hunting Binoculars but didn't find them ranked for Best Birding Binoculars. I guess better bird watching binoculars exist if you're willing to spend a lot more money. The Bushnell 8x42 Legend binoculars have the perfect close focus system along with fully multi-coated lens and BaK4 prisms. I recommend the Bushnell Lengend 8x42 binoculars to any bird watcher on a budget.
