Pros
  • Excellent Image quality, fits the hand well.
Cons
  • Eye cups showing some signs of wear, a little heavy.
Nikon\\\'s top of the range 32mm binocular.

Optics are top notch as well. Gives a good fov and shows colours well. At birdfair it compared well to the Zeiss FL and Leica Ultravid.

Only drawbacks are some sign of wear on eye cups. New models from Leica and Zeiss weigh a lot less

At the UK price it is several hundred pounds below the competition - bargain really.

Pros
  • Light weight, well built and optics to die for
Cons
  • I\\\\\\\'m trying very hard to think of one!! Well it could be cheaper!!
The APO Televid 62 is a well made lightweight scope.

The 16-48 zoom has a decent fov and provides a very useable view all the way up to 48x. On a very dull day at Welney it picked out the Purple Heron that others couldn\\\\\\\'t get. It was like turning on headlights!!

The 26ww is like moving 26 times closer to the birds. Colours are very natural.

The case is expensive but well made. The scope is unreservedly recommended and should be on anyones shortlist if they are after a top of the range 60mm scope.

Pros
  • Light, cheap, fits in pocket
Cons
  • Not Waterproof
As indicated above works with Opticrons full range of eyepieces although I\\\\\\\'ve no experience of these on this scope.

Coupled with the standard 25x lens it gives a decent image for the price. It won\\\\\\\'t set the world a light BUT it does bring birds closer and the image is usable at the price. It can be a bit dull in low light conditions.

Coupled with a shoulder/desk pod this makes for a very handy low cost travel pod.
