I've had this binocular for about three years and find the lightweight a definite plus. This gets carried many more places than a heavier instrument would!
Brightness and resolution are very good.
The magnification and objective lens size gives the expected narrow field of view. The lightness of the binocular makes it much easier to hold the view than a heavier instrument would be. The effort to find a moving image is understandably more than it would be with a larger objective lens. Many birders will find a larger field of view more desirable for quickly acquiring a fast-moving bird.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good, close-up image.
