Bought this camera about 1 month ago to upgrade from my 400D which i had for 2 years and it was great.
But the 50D is even better and is the the best DSLRs i have ever used.
I upgraded from the 400D mainly because of the speed the 6.3fps of the 50D is alot better for catching action shots especially of birds.
I have used this camera in many bird reserves in lancashire and it is brilliant (in my opinion even better than the canon 1d seris) and i would reccomend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade from somthing like a 400D.
Although it may not be sutible as a begginers DSLR
