**Update: Have been experiencing some spherical aberration, that got especially annoying out in the field in bright daylight. It is improved by adjusting the eyecup distance by problem never completely goes away and FOV suffers as a result. This may not be an issue for every pair, or for every user but wanted to note this and have adjusted my rating accordingly.**
A solid pair of bins. Small enough to carry around daily but not so small that you sacrifice quality or features. It also won't break the bank.
After comparing many other options I settled on these because they had everything I was looking for: waterproof, BaK4 prism, long eye relief, fog-proof, and fully multi-coated lenses. For $89.99, with all those features, plus a carry case, strap, and objective and eye piece protectors...it was a no brainer for me.
After using them for a few weeks I can confidently say that these great! I have no major complaints. My only minor issues have been:
-They are a little heavy for me, so my arms get tired after awhile (but that's more a result of my puny arms).
-The neck strap attachment points can dig into my hands a little depending on how I hold them.
-There's slight chromatic aberration visible when focusing on far away birds against a bright background.
-Experienced some spherical aberration in bright daytime conditions.
None of those things are a deal breaker though, especially not at this price point. Overall, they are very solidly built, have a smooth zoom action, and the image quality is wonderful for everyday birding.
