Pros: Adjustable Pan and Tilt drag, Dovetailed sliding plate, Perfect for larger scopes, Easy and positive locks
Cons: For its price none

With a large scope ( Nikon ED82A ) this head is significantly better in overall performance than any lower priced fluid head that I have tried. The scope mounting plate gives less bounce when used with a camera and being of a dovetail design is about as positive as you can get.
This head is probably only bettered by heads costing twice as much. (y) (y)
