Monty,

I've been following this thread with interest. FWIW I've owned some 10x25 Trinovid BCA's since the 90's and until a few years ago they were my only binocular. They were bought to use at...

I take your point Jerry, and I agree that they can be fiddly and not something for long term viewing. I would still have thought, however, that they would be perfect for these specific requirements:-...

Hi Tom,

The problem when somebody asks for advice about a specific binocular or format, is that invariably some burk comes along without any knowledge or experience of the format or suggested...

Hi Edmund,

Great to hear that you're enjoying the UV 7's so much now. Interesting that you would also now use the word 'sparkle' to describe something in the view. I totally agree that 'upgrading'...

Chuck, like I said in my previous post, the difference in the focus adjustment on the Trinovid and the UVHD+ is very marginal. Very probably most people wouldn't notice going from one to the other...

Chuck, I was referring to the 2012-15 Trinovid, not the HD. The difference in the focus compared to the UVHD+ is very marginal, but with the nod to the Trinovid (with the stainless steel instead of...

I don't know whether this is an additional reason or not, but I think titanium expands and contracts less with temperature change than steel. That could give a more consistent performance in...

I appreciate that Andy. However, although I do own the NV I’m not trying to rationalise that it’s better, I would just like to hear some first-hand opinions and experiences of the objective...

Rob, I have the 7x42 UVHD+ and compliment them with the 10x42 NV. Each to his own, and this is only a matter of passing interest to me, but I wonder whether the the 10x50 UVHD+ would really give you...
