If that's the case I too wouldn't hesitate buying it and would expect the fault to show within the warranty period and I would then return it although this would be rather irritating.

Large or Small Tortoiseshell

I saw this in Switzerland in June and think its a Large but cant quite convince myself.

It was seen at around 1400mts in the area of Haute Nendaz.

Spotted this fritillary just east of the Rhone in Switzerland I am suspecting Heath but may be Grisons?

Suspected moth caterpillars - Worcestershire , UK today

I found a good clutch of these and they are feeding well on Blackthorn although they liked Bramble as hatchlings. I am struggling to find out what they are.

I would guess at a hawk-moth...
