Panama Storm-Petrels

I saw several Storm-Petrels from the Panama City-Contadora ferry on 2nd April. They were quite big. Were they most likely Black Storm-Petrels?

Ah, I see wader means herons, egrets and storks in North America. To us it means what you call shorebirds. There were loads of herons etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wader

Thanks. It seems that Collins is plainly wrong on the leg colour then. I suppose it's about having a general familiarity with a species too, and I don't do much birding in the UK so I don't have that.
