Hi Mark,

I have two Nikon Action 10-22x50 binoculars.

Firstly, at low powers the field is...

Sorry Canip,
I don't know how to do pictures, but there are photos of the same model easily found on the internet.

I think that someone has painted over the metal parts in black.

Objectives about 14mm...

Thanks Kevin,

I tried to see the Mercury transit today with a filtered Canon 10x30IS Mk II, but cloud won and I didn't see it.
Others saw it with filtered binoculars.

No backlash from me, despite my being a self confessed polluter.

Unless we bring our aspirations way down and stop making billions, if not trillions of LEDS etc. humans are lost.

Hi publin,

The 8x30 binocular shown is indeed basically not plastic.
It is also not a zoom binocular.

It looks like a low priced 8x30 Porroprism binocular that could be made anywhere.
The German...

Some SIB binoculars are Russian.

If the 8x30 SIB says 175m at 1000m on the right top plate then it is untrue.
Probably not German.

Low value, I think.
