I had both and sold the fuji and kept the SX50....

I had both and sold the fuji and kept the SX50. The fuji was just not up to the IQ of the canon + I was getting some focus problems on my Fuji every so often.

I used to connect with cables but just use google cromecast now, brill IF you have a good internet connection, which I do not have unfortunately. But still ok for streaming footie and films

The Sigma comes out soon and I reckon it will be a better lens as they have had the Tamron to look at and improve on hopefully.

Yep - from what i have read it is not a good SX50 upgrade. the IS is not even as good which did surprise me.

Raw is good on the SX50 Black Fox, better for me than jpg fine, but you cant use the 1.5...
