The way Red Kites have spread around the country since the reintroduction schemes I would think they could show up almost anywhere. Here in N.Yorkshire they seem to pop up in new areas regularly.

Thanks Synaps I did that with an old pair of Swift Ultralite but not until the wife had claimed them. It did work but not going to try it on bins still under warranty.
