The SW and Zeiss are fairly equal in quality,
just personal preference;
so go to a shop that has both and try out for yourself,
keeping in mind the above suggestions.

$10 binocular used one hour and disguarded = 10/1 = $10 hour

$6400 Nikon WX used one hour per day x 20 years
