Yes, a few times over the years.
I used to take my angled Celestron Regal M2 - 80mm ED scope in the hides there,.. but a straight Kowa 884 would have been far better for viewing across the wetlands.

I can see exactly where you're coming from, with the benefits of a straight scope in a hide. I may have to reconsider and get the 884 instead, ;)
