Camera equipment insurance.

Hi all.


I live in rented acommadation ,so have not got house insurance or I would put my gear on this.Anyone got any good insurance companies,or ones to stay clear of?

Regular checking of your lens & you won't have a problem.In nearly 40yrs of photography i've never had a problem.Plus the way you clean the glass can lead to problems,I never clean the glass.

Can I make a suggestion?Don't buy any filters for the front of your lens,they degrade image quality.Your 1st line of defence is your lens hood.

If you are only posting images on the internet then srgb is fine,if you are printing out images or selling them commercially then Adobe.Adobe has a wider colour gamut.
