Clee hill, Shropshire, UK - golden plovers?

Hi

Saw a reasonably sized flock of these at the radar station end of Clee Hill in Shropshire, UK.

Are they golden plovers?
Do you think they migrate this way all the time - or were they blown off...

I saw the black swan out of the water at the front of the hide at about 4.15pm, it had no rings which surprised me!
