Great advice! I only pick the SV 8.5X42 in some cases when I prefer the 8.5X magnification. OTHERWISE, I'd rather than the 8X32. More FOV, lighter, better ergonomics.

I agree with both of you! I've had the Premier 8X32 for almost a year. It's a great binocular. I actually use it more than the EDG 8X32.

I think it's all a matter of what one is used to and likes/dislikes. I certainly have had no ill effects from using a Noctivid day in day out. After a minute or two using it becomes second nature...

Yeah photo quality is only so so. LOTS of variables. The photo isn't perfectly centered which bothers me. You CAN see it's pretty CA free until you get to the edge of the FOV.

2011 8X42 HD- exactly two turns lock to lock
2017 8X42(current)- About 2.25 turns lock to lock
2017 10X56- 1.4 turns lock to lock.
