Birds of Prey, Hills Creek State Park PA.

Shot these on 9-14 and 9-16 while fishing from a boat on the lake.
The first one I think is a 2nd yr Bald Eagle.
The second one I think is an Osprey.

Confirm Male & Female Tree Swallow, Catskill NY area June 2010

Just wanted confirmation that these are a male and female Tree Swallow.
Seen in Catskills area of NY, catching insects and feeding babies in nest.

Hi,

Would like confirmations on these three.
1. I think is a Pine Warbler.
2. I think is a Yellow Rumped Warbler.
3. Probably a Pine Warbler also, but hoping for something else, like maybe a Yellow...

backyard budgie

Saw this escapee in the backyard last week, can anyone tell me the type of budgie (skyblue, cobolt etc?).

All the regulars at the feeder gave him a pretty wide berth, didn't know what to think of...

White or Albino Rock Dove in NJ?

Hi,

This had been previously identified as a rock dove in another post. Some people have asked me if it is albino or just white and I'm not sure what to tell them, it wasn't really stated one way...

I almost typed Albino also, but had the same thought as you, that all white was rare but bred into the rock doves. I'll let the experts comment on this bird. He's sure was an eye opener...

Please Confirm 2 ID's in NJ

First is a female Rose Breasted Grosbeak and second is a White-Crowned Sparrow I believe. Both from central New Jersey.

Sparrow ID's

First 3 are the same bird takes 3-3-08. Not sure on this one at all.
4th is I think a White Throated Sparrow taken on 3-25-08.

All in New Jersey.
