I also have had the RS7 for 3 years and used it with a 300 2.8 and 500 f4 there is
very slight wear,i tend to keep my hand on the lens whilst walking
reducing the abrasive effects of the two metals...

I use a manfrotto 679b for my 300 2.8,i actually use a Lensmaster lightweight gimbal,i used to own a 400 f5.6 and i used the manfrotto 234 tilt head with no problems..

Finches decline

Hi has anyone else noticed a decline in finches numbers over recent times also signs of disease on some birds visiting gardens...

I would go with common buzzard,the tail feathers...
