White-winged Black Tern, Venice?

Thanks,
Louis

Ah yes, I read/heard a quote linking into Bill Oddie's which went something along the lines of "a Coot is a nocmigger's Great Tit". I can't find the source though (maybe it was in conversation with...

I'm sorry that some of you couldn't listen to the recordings. I've now attached all the files converted to mp3 files.

I agree, they are short recordings but all the 'good' stuff I've recorded so...

Sorry about that. I've now converted the 'cleaned up' version (although it still isn't the best). The sonogram looks distinctive to me so maybe that's more useful than the recording.

Thanks once...

Thanks Lou. Following your comment I've attempted to 'clean up' the recording (see attached).

Edit - See attached for the sonogram too.

One more

One more from two days later. I'm pretty sure I've recorded this bird or some of its mates 4 times in 45 minutes (and I'm yet to analyse the rest of the recording). Any ideas? I think I thought Coot...

A few more mystery nocturnal calls - 29th July

A few more mystery recordings from my nocmigging a few weeks ago.

One I'm almost certain is Common Sand, one sounds like House Martin (I think) but it's at 11pm which is an unusual time for House...

Nocturnal Call - 29th July 2019

Any ideas on this call. It sounds 'wadery' to me.

Thanks,
Louis

Hope this helps,

I have returned multiple times to look for the gull but with no luck each time. However, I did spot Farmer Giles but there was no sign of his girlfriend unless it's that ugly sow I photographed.
