Try the Sayap Substation at Kinabalu on the Kota Belud district. Then also go to Trus Madi Gate via Tambunan district. Deramakot Forest Reserve is a good place to visit too for birds and mammals.

I shoot between 500mm to 750mm for quality wise images and for videos, it depends with the subjects. I rarely shoot above 750mm except for record shots.
