Namibia has been a wonderful family vacation. While birding hasn't been my main focus, I did manage to already rack up 77 different species, 68 year birds and 10 lifers. And, we still have a few days to go!

Latest Lifer: 788 : White-throated Kingfisher (Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, Cairo, Egypt, April 2019)
Have spent most of this week in Cairo, holed up in a hotel at a conference. But I did manage two journeys out and saw some great birds here, a new lifer: the glorious White-throated Kingfisher, which hovers just above the water like a Pelican and darts down.
