    Airport staff sometimes lets to take your tripod as carry-on, but not always. There shouldn't be any problems with camera and lens. The best idea for tripod is taking 'safe' suitcase for it.

    Ornithology is science and changes are unavoidable. People usually don't like changes and it recall me that in the past it was said that earth was flat.
