    Well I have to say using Swarovski and Leica for many years, my new 10x30 is II are showing far more detail due to IS. There a pleasure to look through.. swaros now relegated to the draw . Anyone who hasn't tried them should.

    Had a brilliant night with them tonight birding, I seriously can just see details I've never seen with non IS. Mine are Taiwan.. The dioptre is firm but quite easy to move. Thanks Gary

    Thanks for the info, that's my thinking from a brief experience with the MK1 10x30is. I wonder why all the birders with Swarovski can't see the advantages? Surely I'd rather spend 1500ukp on the L 15x50 is similar than over 2000ukp so non is Swarovski. Thanks Gary

    Thanks, yes they will be my only binocular, for birdwatching, wildlife and nature watching, just want a quality pair to have.. but just one pair.

    Being only £35 between these binoculars, which would you buy? Sense says the Leica, bigger objective lens, great brand. But in terms of image quality does anyone know which gives the best views? I'm in a dilemma. Thanks Gary

    Just had chance to test against each other, the view though through the swaro 8x20b is brighter by a tad than my Bushnell birding series 8x42 but less than half the object lens diameter. Why's this? Gloomy day...
