    gitzo 1720 QR head

I ordered the 1720 to use with a Swaro 65 but I have also used a Swaro 80 on this head, I was surprised at how well it worked with the larger scope. If possible It might be a good idea to order the 1720 and the 2720 and try them for yourself. Check the dealers returns policy first.

    Wood Warbler sites

Phil, There are Wood Warblers in the Oak Woods in the SW corner of Derwentwater. Follow the path west along the southern edge of the lake then head north along the west side of the lake where you will enter Oak Woodland. I had 3 singing there at noon about 3 weeks ago. Best wishes, Gareth

    Hen Harrier Day 10th August.

I will be attending the Dunsop Bridge event in the Forest of Bowland. The news on Mark Avery's website is that the Derwent Dam event is now full. This leaves the events at Dunsop Bridge and the South Tyne Trail at Lambley in Northumberland as an opportunity for people to express their outrage...

    Giottos YTL 8283

Hello Perry, I think your 8253 will be better suited to my needs regarding height. I am 6 ft 1 and own an angled scope. I've done some measuring and the minimum height for a tripod would be 134cm. I am considering sticking with Manfrotto, which I currently own. It did the job and was solid...

    Walking Boots

Perry, You did well to get 2 1/2 years out of them. I have had 3 pairs of Berghaus gortex boots and they all lasted just over a year before leaking. The 3rd pair were a replacement from Berghaus [now leaking]after the second pair let in water after 14 months. I do not want another pair of gortex...

The link still works even with some of the letters missing. When I went to edit the post all the missing letters were included in the original post so there was nothing to change. Confused!
